Youngin said: (quoted from post at 16:02:04 01/11/13) We have 3588 with ac troubles. When the low pressure gauge gets to about 70 and high pressure to 50 it just runs until the high gets to 100 then the compressor shuts off. Then it wont kick on for a while. I have no juice at the yellow wire at the relay cut out. If i jump juice to that wire the compressor runs. Should their be juice their?
Thanks
What does the low side pressure read once the compressor starts?
There is a low pressure switch in the cab on the return hose from the evaporator and a high pressure switch near the condenser in front of the radiator. The low pressure switch should close at 6 +/- 2 psi. The high side switch should close at 375 +/- 10 psi. Both switches must remain open for there to be "juice" at the compressor clutch.
Pete, Thanks or catching the errors .

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
