In my area we had at least ten 06 tractors within 15 miles with pickers on them and to my knowledge none of them came without fenders. When the picker went on you took the fenders off and when the picker came back off you put the fenders on. Pretty simple really. I guess if the tractors were used for nothing but picking corn I could see ordering them without fenders. The guys in this area however tended to use their tractors for a lot of other things the other ten months out of the year. Keep in mind there was a lot of livestock around at that time which meant manure handling. Kind of nice to have fenders for that. I really can't imagine doing much fieldwork with an 806 or 706 without some kind of fenders. Maybe its just me.
