No, he means a long rod from the mower to the Touch control arm on the left side below the gas tank. That's how our SC raised the cutter bar. You set the inside of the cutter bar height with the Fast Hitch and never moved the F-H while you mowed. Then the left side Touch Control raised the outer end of the bar about 3' and the inner end less than 1'. You removed the leveling link bar and pinned it solid.
Just thinking.... if it came off a 230, the 230 may not have had Touch Control, many did not. I believe they may have used a cylinder to raise the cutter bar.
