Ok guys, I know this topic has been asked before (and probably by me), but I just can't seem to find anything in the searches.
I am looking at a couple of 140 tractors that are about 500 miles from me. I am wanting to learn how to narrow down items by looking at it and trying to figure out what year the tractor is. THe owner is older and after I got the pictures, it's hard to tell much. I guess I could ask for specific pictures, but I just don't want to bother him and seem "too" intrested. He did his best, and they look good enough from what I can tell, so I'll make the trip to look at them. For now, it is killing me wanting to know how I can identify them by certain objects to narrow down the year range it was made. Here are the (2) tractors.....
