Hi Lou, You may want to get a service manual for this carb for adjustment. After referring to my 340u manual there is a whole bunch of "accurate" adjustments that would take way to long to type. The ones I've given are basic adjustments and should work "ok".

On Item 3: They call for a preset of 6 turns on a slightly different carb? Wow! You'll know right away which way is too much or little. Watch the exhaust stack, if black then it's too much and if lean it'll start to die with no black exhaust.
