According to Guy Fay's book, those lights were available as of March '48. They were probably available for dealer or customer installation shortly after that. When they were available as a factory installed option probably depended on the tractor model. By about '52 the other style light with the red light set in the main reflector was available. Once it was available, the earlier style light was probably discontinued.
