Rob wish I could talk to you. Would take just a few imutes to explain the system. The td8 does not have clutches as such uses a planatery drive system.. Any way what you need to do is about a 10 minute fix .. I will try and tell you here but is a little tricky. On the Right side squat down and look at the sprocket. Put your hand at about 2 O clock. Look right on back on the dozer frame. You will find a lock nut on a 3/4 square stud. Now the trick part hold the stud and back off the nut just a little. Turn in the stud 1 and 1/2 turn. Tighten your lock nut (WITHOUT LETTING THE STUD TURN) Should have you problem solved. If not post an e-mail I will contact you and give you a phone number. 25 years ih experience.
