I have a Donaldson OEM filter on my skid steer. It was either not tightened enough by the dealer when it was in to be fixed or it came loose. I suspect the former. I tightened it up like it says and I think it's on as far as it can possibly go. It uses a round section o-ring as opposed to a flat o-ring. Are the round o-rings more prone to leaking? I ran it and at first it showed no signs of leaking, then when I checked it later I could see a little line of oil down the side of it. Could this just be oil left over from the big leak it had that's running down after it gets hot and drips down? The filter has only been on for 40 hours or so and a new one is probably $60 or more. Has anyone else had a problem with a Donaldson filter leaking? Dave
