I had a major loss of oil in my skid steer. It drained the tank. I picked up the wheels and pulled it on the bucket to where I could work on it. I can't see any major hole in a hose but one hose that goes into the filter sits against the foil covered foam cab insulation. The crimped on fitting was almost completely rusted away where it was pushing against the cab insulation so I took it off because I need to replace it anyway. Could this have caused the leak? It didn't seem the wettest with oil but the oil would run straight down when the machine was off. I'm going to get the hose tested to see if that's the leak but if it isn't, is there another easy way to find the leak without having to waste a bunch of oil by pumping it out on the ground again? I don't have a lot of room to get real close to look where else it could be leaking. I'm out in the boonies and don't have a shop with all the ameneties. Dave
