ed, i should read all of the replys before i answer, you have giving me a lot to think about and to check out, wish i could do the same for you, i will check at the parts store for a 1953 chey. truck, is this a 6or8 cyl. engine on your truck? also i have pulled the enginr, easyier than i was expecting, i will check the movement, when i bought the crawler the person told me he had rebuilt the engine, but i am giong to check it out good! this is a 2 cly. gas engine thank-you , also i am trying the rust removeal they are talking about on the paint board, using electlyise, will let you know how this works, charles
