Just bought a Gehl 4615 skid steer in really good shape.... still has original paint, decals, no leaks, solid running engine. Only problem, there were no operator, owners or service manuals with it. The last skid steer I had was also a Gehl, but somewheres in the early 60's vintage w/ a Wisconsin 4 cyl gas engine. Can anybody provide some basic service info ? I'm assuming that the hydraulic oil is hydraulic oil, like a Hy-Tran that I use in my farm tractors ? My old Gehl used straight 30wt engine oil. What type of diesel did Gehl use in that model ? It's a 4 cyl, but I cannot find any indication of what brand. A friend of mine believes it's a Perkins. All the filters: fuel, hyd & engine oils are all Wix, with the part number clearly marked, so thats covered. I also need to find a manure fork for it, if anybody has any suggestions where I might shop for one. I'm located in New York State, on the border between southern NY and northern PA, west of Binghamton. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
