hello i am looking at purchasing a 1996 mitsubishi mm45b excavator and it is located 500 miles from me.. i have had a friend look at and it seems in very good shape. i looked all over the internet for specs on weight, and dig depth etc and can not find a thing. sellor claims 4200 hours on unit, and is this a lot for a small machine like this? however it looks like they are the same as cat excavators, and parts interchange. which cat model would be the same ? does anyone have a link to specs etc, or know the actual operating weight , and dig depth? any other info possible, such as problems etc? sellor claims unit weighs aprox 10.000 lbs but i need to be certain so i dont end up overweight on my trailer and truck before i buy it?
thanks gerry @ bc canada
