t340a for sure. I restored one a few years back I found in a junkyard. only one side of mine would pull, it took some time. ended up with a lot of money in it, but its brand new from tracks to muffler, radiator to pto(I added pto from a tractor). we use it quite often on the farm. there are several things that will keep it from moving. some are simple and others are terrible. if it was driven to that spot, its simple. if it was dragged to there, then can be difficult. I have complete set of books and can work you through anything. this machine has five rollers and is the later "a" as others said. it needs new rails (track chain). I can tell this from the position of front idler slides as they are all the way forward. the rock guards will help keep the loose track on somewhat. when looking for new chain, be careful the number of links. the t340a has one more link than the are hard to get but it can all be made or repaired. engine block is specific to that model, but internal parts are same as 340 tractor and readily available. it has a reverser because I don't see the release latch on top of that lever. it has had a root rake on blade I think because those brackets sticking out the front are like some ive seen. check hydro for water as these machines have been known to let rain in if outside for a long time. look for a 1/2 inch pipe plug sticking out top of transmission cover between your feet. dipstick should be attacked to bottom of that plug. if you buy this for parts, im interested in the reverser. if you need more info, send email with phone and ill give you a call. ashley
