Been doing it for along time. One of the trucks has has over 300K on it, its hard on the truck but with decent trailer brakes its very do able. I have a Class A CDL and all of the proper paper work from dot.

I pass dot inspections and no one gives me grief over the loads since I am properly tagged. Not sure what you are worked up about, I'm not breaking any laws.
A couple of my trucks.
Not worked up at all, amused is more like it. Registration has nothing to do with towing capacity. You're towing way, way beyond the vehicles rated capacity. If that's the way they do things where you, fine. Interstate you'd find you're into a different ball game, unless the laws have changed drastically int he past 4-5 years since I retired. You an tag an S-10 or Toyota SR5 for 36K, doesn't mean it's legal (or a good idea) to haul from the east coast tot he west coast with it.
