Thats fair, something like that in running condition would be listed for 5k or similar around here. You would get more for it running, but you never know, if in fact you do need to do this repair, you have great resources here, and ACMOC and ACME antique caterpillar forums, these were well regarded and still very useful tractors, nothing like an oil clutch direct drive old caterpillar, direct electric start is a nice feature, that should help hold value, though I prefer a starting engine for the cold weather like we get in the winter, direct start is still a nice feature.
