I think the C replaced the B model somewhere around 1976 with a 4000 sn probably a 1979 machine. Engine is ih dt 466 wet sleeve engine. Tought old machines. Look for the transmission suction filter, can be under the floorboards or behind a panel to the left of the seat. I would check that strainer. If you have steering issues I can tell you how to do the adjustments.
