Forget about any additives you can put in the coolant there are none that will mend a crack, the two methods that are used to repair cracked heads and blocks are cold metal stitching and pool welding, they both require the head off,the metal stitching they will strip and stitch the crack, then machined it and fit new valve seats, that type repair has only a 50/50 chance of success,if the engine ever got hot it can start leaking again, the pool welding method if you could find anyone that can do it involves cutting out the cracked area, heating the head back to casting temperature and pouring in new metal, machine it back to standard, I have never known that method to fail but it is very expensive to do, there are lots of IH heads on ebay have a look there, failing that go to the IH site Red Power at the link below and see if you can find a used one.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
