The 580K was a good work horse with no frills or silly electronics,it was a much favoured machine with owner drivers for doing utility work, having said that the same applies for it as any used machine, check all it's functions, see all the equipment is holding up. and no bad hydraulic leaks,if it's a 4x2 check the kingpins, look at all the joints for play,a bit of play in a pin and bush is one thing but if the holes are wallowed out its an expensive repair, look esp it where the boom pivots to the kingpost, the engines were good and usually ran clean and were easy to start,a well cared for machine will look decent if it has not been abused,it is not easy to judge something when one is not up close,go to the link below where you can find all the specs for the 580K P1.good luck.
