Not at that time somewhere around late 58 or so got diesel in the L 190 ect but never in the KBs. The 6 cylinder cummins that is in some of the Dodge pickup would be something that could be or the ih 466 engine. Either would be a lot of work. IF you decide to do it buy the donor truck where you can get all the motor mounts ect. Lots more to it than just the engine. All sorts of problems like throttle , air in, exaust out. I have been doing conversions for years and that one will be work. I do have a replacement gas engine for you truck.
