This is the king of obsoletes’ website. He hangs out on the repower website sometime. They have a good section on construction equipment and some very knowledgeable people on the old crawlers.
Here is my TD6 that I built out of scraps of 2 junk machines. It is running working machine and is worth 2500 on a good day, it is getting harder and harder to find parts for because they are worth more as scrap then they are as a running machines. I guess people figure why put the effort into getting one going that has been sitting just to get the same money as what the scrap man will give you. It is worth more to me than what the market will pay for it. .

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
