1466 brake and steering failure

Hello,
I was mowing today when the steering and brakes on my 1466 just quit working. The tractor runs fine, the PTO works, and the hyd hoses and 3 point hitch work. It is only the brakes and steering that have stopped. The red light on the dash that goes off after the tractor has started now stays on. Any ideas?

Check the level of the hydraulic system if full put in an extra 5 gallons. It hurts nothing and floods an Oring that leaks on the intake side of the MCV pump. If it does not fix it, the MCV valve or system may be stuck. Try the extra oil! Jim
