Another question

I have a couple questions concerning the hydraulics... 1. when PTO is engaged and you raise lift it takes awhile for it to come up. 2. once its up it stays up but i noticed it will bounce up and down maybe half an inch. not fast bouncing but slow... what causes that. 3. I received the jig from Zane ... I think I'm gonna pour diesel fuel thru the filler cap and drop pump to clean out sludge in bottom..In your opinion would you go ahead and rebuild the pump and lift cylinder.I all ready have the parts.. Thanks again

i'd drop the pump, clean out the sump including diffy cavity. I would for sure rebuild the lift cyl/piston.. and adjust her.

I'd probably repalce the relief too.

not sure I'd crack the pump open unless it wasn't lifting good weight.. or unless it pulsed on the way up.

tghe hunting at the top is likely pump and leakdown ( ie.. circuit regen ).

open side cover and look in with weight lifted.. got a stream of oil from the mouth of the cyl ( or anywhere? ).. that cyl is a small oil volume. leak will be seen as decreased lift height, then the pump pumps up.. thus the bobbing..

Will draining fluid and then filling with diesel to let soak so cleaning will be easier hurt anything? if so what is recommended?
