Front and rear PTO oil seals

I have a Farmall 400 and I need to change out the
front and rear PTO oil seals.
The question I have is , can I pull out the whole
PTO assembly after I drain the transmission, and
replace them? and are the front and back seals the
same?
What I"m seeing is transmission oil leaking out
around the PTO shaft.

Glad to hear you figured it out.

Sometimes you just don't get an answer for whatever reason. That is just the nature of free online forums.

If a question is too obscure, or unclear, people won't answer because they simply don't know. Perhaps the question about the "front" seal threw people off? I dunno.

Just don't take it personal.

CaseIH has the parts books online now at partstore.caseih.com so you can look a lot of that stuff up yourself, and get seal numbers to cross even.
