This guy had way too much time and money on his hands. I'll say he will end up taking a lot less, if he sells it. I can't imagine who would want it at 1/4 that price.

It is purdy. I kind of like it.
To have that much invested seems like he would have
had to buy everything new and/or hire everything out.
Still purdy. Purdy apt to be his next year too though.

I like it. His tractor, his choice. Were it me though, while using the maroon color, I would have painted the hood and fenders a Cadillac Perl white with a half a dozen coats of clear. My son who paints for a living painted our 600 hood and fenders with that color 10 years ago and we still get comments about how nice it looks.

He doesn't know how to attach the stay chain brackets on the rear housing at the pto though.

That Fire Mist Red looks like an Imron paint color. I painted a Honda Prelude that red. Man that was a pretty car.

Tractor is too rich for my blood.

Looks like it was headed toward being a "top notch" job until he used the wrong color..That color just don"t do anything for me--sure would be a nice one if it was done in the correct color...Hope he likes it "cause I believe he will remain the proud owner at that price..

FWIW external_link's [u:23d8e47e85]base[/u:23d8e47e85] price for a tractor like that is 13K. For show quality paint add another $800, alternator $200, EI $130, and they don't have a price for the chrome bling. ;-) Somebody must buy them.....

Too pretty to work for sure. Original color would be nice,but still pretty. Looks like another one in front of it in the second pic. I'm painting a 2N the wrong color. Just finished painting yesterday. Why?, because the owner wanted it a different color, and he's a paying customer. I told him I'd paint it any color but green and yellow. :lol:
