I removed my radiator on my NAA. I laid it on the ground and when I went to remount it I hear loose pieces of metal inside the radiator.Any thoughts what it may be?

Likely dried rust and hard water deposits that flaked off or were disturbed when you removed the radiator - Good idea to flush the system for optimum cooling.

I would say that more often than not I have heard stuff rattle inside a dried out radiator. Another possibility is drops of solder from a repair.

deffinately flush it out. vinegar would be my choice.

agree, just flush it out best you can and don't worry.
While you have the tin and radiator off, it's a good time to check the radiator top tank seam.
Most need a little attention there.

got a better look...it is large pieces of a angled looking silver colored metal. Are there brackets or spacers ,in the top part of radiator , that came loose?
