W4 rear hubs

is lots of heat the only way to release the hub from the rear axle?

Sometimes that dont even work had one we took it apart so we could use a press and it took a huge press to pop it off try the heat first mite just do it.

Had to do that on my W4 last summer. Pulled both axles and pressed the hubs off. One came off fairly easily, the one with the bad seal, the other wouldn"t budge with 20 tons pressure until I heated it red hot.
