F12 gaskits

I am in the process of restoring a F12 that has been in the family since new. Wondering if anyone has any idea where I can find gaskit for the transmission cover and seals for the axle, pto and brake shafts. Have been looking on the web but have had no luck.

For the transmission case etc, I purchased a sheet of cork gasket material and cut one to fit, has worked well for 12 years so far.

Seals arent any problem just take the old one or measure the od and ID and any part store can get new ones. Buy some gasket material and make your own not hard to do.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried those two and the only cary stuff for the engine. Can"t find anything for the Trans.

You will save a lot of money by making your own gaskets out of sheet gasket material. If you get a head gasket kit, it includes the head, manifold, oil pan and valve cover gaskets, Victor part number is FS1396. All other gaskets can easily be cut out of gasket material. McMaster-Carr carries vegetable fiber gasket material in 1/16", 1/32" and 1/64" thicknesses, 3 feet wide and any length you want. All you will need is a pencil, heavy-duty scissors a small hammer and a cheap set of hole punches. Just lay the part on the gasket material, trace around it and cut out the gasket, use the hole punches for bolt holes. Works like a charm, I have made many gaskets this way.

When I restored my F14 30 years ago I just put some silicon under the transmaission cover it won't squeeze out and saves a lot of time trying to make a gasket. They don't use gaskets on things like that now days. Just purchase a couple of tubes of it for your caulking gun and you're ready!
