Looking for some help our PTO when hooked up will skip out of gear when running I removed the PTO shaft and it looks fine , any Ideas? Thanks

Is the end of the countershaft in good shape? I have a spare countershaft for an early H if you want one.

yes it seems to be in good shape the spring is intact how do you know if the spring is good and has enough tension

The dogs that slide together to form the ON OFF connection may be deformed enough that pressure causes them to slide apart. An angle grinder and some careful reshaping can make them interlock again. Grind only minimally. Jim
