Tractor manuals

I just bought a 1955 Farmall 300 and was wondering what manuals are worth getting. I see a lot of the Blue Ribbon Service manuals but wonder how informative they really are. Any input would be great.

Very informative. The 350 "service manual" I bought from Binder Books dot com consists of 5 Blue Ribbon manuals.

If you're a 'newbe' to tractors, the first, most important book for you is an "Owner's Manual".Then pick up the service manual.

I got a circa 1958 I&T manual for mine this summer and it has been very helpful. Never tried the other kinds, I'm too cheap.

An owners manual is a MUST have. Nothing else will take its place. An I&T manual will get you through procedures not covered in the owners manual, and eventually, you will want a parts catalog, and then the Blue Ribbon service manuals.

The I&T manual should be considered as an addition to the service manuals, but at the same time, the I&T manual MIGHT be all you will ever need.
