I was using my 7' back blade on Mr.Edd 48 8n last wk plowing snow and it works great but I thought I would turn it around to push backwords guese what, no can do the blade hits the rear tire duh and I am an engineer should have seen that one coming.Well good thing it does a great job pushing snow the way it is anyway.

park it on a hump with lower ground just behind the back wheels, then shorten your top link all the way and lower the 3 point all the way down and it should go past. Works for me.

Can you not turn it around before you hook it up to the tractor?

I had a 7 footer and had the same problem, I cut a foot off one end and could swing one way. Then I did a stupid thing and cut a foot off the other side. Sure wished I had left the right side longer as it stuck past the tire tracks, was great for grading . luck joe

My 7'er is adjustable side to side, I just make it longer on one side so it will pivot.

Before I widened my rear tires, my 7-foot blade would only turn around if I had it just off the ground and pushed it to one side as hard as I could. (Not a sliding blade - just took up all of the slack in the 3-point arms.)

I will remove the stabilisers and try that I don't want to widen the tires.
