Slow progress, but the 8N 3PT is working - pics

Its been a while since the cat drug this 8N home.
Tinkering with it here and there, got the lift cover all put back together and working.
Still got a ways to go, but I thought I'd give you all an update.
I don't normally leave anything lifted, but I left those blocks up for an hour
with the tractor shut off. It didn't drift at all. About 500lbs with the forks.
Same hood, just pressure washed it. Battery door was not attached. Its on the list.
It was already 12 volts, but the AC Delco Generator they had on it was so long
they had to move the oil filter to the rear and had it mounted with just one bolt.
I swapped the genny with an alternator and put the oil filter back where it belonged.
Thanks again for all the help!

When I bought it I was told it was a '52 and the oil filter was mounted over the serial number.
Now that I can read it, the serial number is 325367 which would make it a later 1950.
I've been trying to save the hat rims.
I have one here that is in pretty good shape except for the band.
Valve stem hole is near perfect.
I'm wondering why someone doesn't make weld-on replacement bands?
