Oil Pick-up tube repair ?

i brazed mine back on with flux coated bronze rods from northern tool snd equipment. tractor supply carries the same ones as do many other places. they're the hobart brand that come in a tube of i think 8 or 12.

i used an acetylene turbo torch and it worked perfectly. just make sure it's super clean and start heating the body first and let the heat spread up to the tube gradually. the tube is much much thinner and will overheat and burn up easily.

also make sure it is lined up exactly the same way as original or it wil hit the crankshaft, or it will hit the oil pan and not line up properly with the drain hole. there is a post in the archives here about how to line it up. HTH, matt
