July till the first of October she was able to enjoy life, Sunday a week ago I took to the ER she was admitted to have a catheter put in the lining of her stomach so we could drain off fluids her cancer was making.... I got her home last Thursday she was so so but a ell of allot better than she was in the hospital....She went to sleep yesterday and fell into a coma... She passed today around 2PM today....

She will be cremated and a memorial service some time toward the end of the week... I want to thank all of you that have had her in your payers...

I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss.
May God comfort you and your family during your grieving now that she is with him.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. When I lost my first wife, her age was 57... Nobody is ever ready for this. even if you have advance notice, so to speak. But I know you'll find a way to do the things you need to do. duey

Hobo, my prayers are with you man may the good lord keep and bless you and the rest of your family.

Hobo , my friend , my heart & prayers go out to you & your children thru these times . You had 40 + 7 yrs of bliss with you sweet wife , years you can hold in your heart & mind for eternity . Feel blessed the Lord had given you a faithful partner for all those years my friend . Nowdays with the way society leads people , few marriages hold together that long . People don"t hold vows as a serious thing anymore . My marriage ended after 33 yrs until my lovely wife said her vows really didn"t mean that much to her .So , again my friend you have something to be proud of as you go through these times . May God hold you all close to him at this time . God bless, Ken

You have my deepest sympathy and understanding. I went through the same thing with my wife two and a half years ago. It's difficult, but there is grief counseling available if needed. Hospice was working with us and I went several sessions. It sure did help.

HOBO, so sorry to hear of your loss. Cancer is so brutal. Lost my Mother to cancer Sept.1. Sounds like your Wife and my Mother were very much alike, Wonderful, Special Ladies-- I bet they are in Heaven together staying busy doing wonderful things for other people. May God richly bless you and your entire family.

Condolences to you and your family.

Life can be cruel but to be married to your best friend for 33 years is a blessing. Remember the good times and do not dwell on the bad. Life goes on regardless of how badly we hurt. May the good Lord bless and keep you and your family.

I'm so sorry you lost her Hobo.

I have often thought of her and wondered how she was doing after you first learned of her cancer and other problems. I'm glad you have those good memories of being with her. I know you will miss her as I would if I lost my wife of 50 years.

My sincere condolences,

Zane

Hobo, so very sorry to hear of your loss. I can sympatize a little bit after watching my FIL pass away in April "07 after being married to his soulmate for 50 1/2 years. I have great respect and admiration for couples such as you and your wife who have been through thick and thin for so many years! May God be with you and all of your extended family in the days and weeks ahead as you go through a tough time. Rest in peace, Mrs Hobo.

Randy,
It's interesting to observe how grief strikes liberals and conservatives alike aint it?
We're all just as human and not so far apart after all.
I hadn't seen you here before but hope you'll stick around.
Not much politics over here at YT.
More about tractors here though sometimes it includes offering your pal a little love as he's in pain. Tragedy joins us - nnalert and pubs alike.

Hobo, I am here in tears after reading your post. Reminds me of when I lost mine also. She was 39. I cant see the keyboard very well at the moment for remembering but when I can, I'll send my condolences.
Sorry for your loss my friend,
John

My wife's family doesn't do to well with cancer. We've lost her mother, father, step-father and sister to cancer. About 7 years ago my wife was diagnosed and the stress on her (and on me) was just unbelievable. I've been part way down the road you've traveled and it sure is a rough road. You have my deepest sympathy.

She sounds like a person I would have enjoyed meeting.

You are a lucky man, my sincere best wishes for you, your family
and friends.

Sorry for your lose Hobo. My wife also died Oct.8, six years ago. Time helps you deal with it but I still talk to her everyday. She helps me decide things on a regular basis. I maybe crazy but she doesn"t care. Do what you have to and she will always be there for you.

Thanks much for the support....
