Ok guys
Started Tractor this A.M. charge rate was Normal Pulled around 20 amps. dropped back to approx. 4-5, Loaded Gen. by turning on all lights,throttle set at 900 Charging went to approx. 25 amps. dropped back to 15 and stayed there. Tapped VA with hammer handle amps. dropped to 4-5 Stuck VA
Needle still bounces at 4-5 amps. maybe paint and not a good ground? Left test leads in Hangar some miles away. Checked wiring to Gen.Measured Voltage at battery between 7-9 Disconnected Field wire which resulted in no charge Thanks for all the help.I know Iam ranting on but wanted to let everyone know what I found.
