hydro. fluid (again)

Have a Dearborn 19-61 FEL that I replaced the fluid in. I used TSC universal tranny/hydro fluid. It seemed a little thin compared to what I removed. I replaced as it had water in it. Now fluid bubbles up and loader is erratic in action. It lifts then drops while lever is in lift position. Dump action is same way. Also makes a noise that sounds like a PS pump low on fluid. Is it possable/permisable to add thicker fluid (thinking 80-90 gear oil) to what what I have? How about 10-30/40 motor oil~squiggly eyes~ ? Any suggestions? Thanks for any help you offer.

sounds like cavitation, and you have LOTS of air in the system..

thicker fluid is not the answer.. and the thinner utf is not the problem.

cycle it good.. refill.. make sure any fitler present is new.. once all cy;s are purged and sump is correct and filters serviced.. should be fine.

I agree with sound you need to open and close the cylinders a number of times to bleed the air out of the system
