G1355 Power Steering Cylinders

How do you remove the front (vertical) pin on the power steering cylinders on a G1355? I have the rear (horizontal) pin removed, both hydraulic lines on each cylinder off, and the snap rings on the front (vertical) pins removed. The front pins need to go up to come out, however there is only a fraction of an inch of clearance between the top of the pins and the cast radiator mount.

I see there are large holes in the rad mount to the rear of the steering cylinders, however even with the tie rods off and the tires jacked off the ground I can't pivot the steering mechanism far enough back to push the pins up and out of the hole. Any help?

You do NOT need to remove the radiator. Get it turned right and the pins will go up thru the holes in the casting. I have done it many, many times over the years.

Not matter which way I turn it, I cannot get the pins to line up with the holes in the casting. The pivot point always interferes with the front axle, and I am about an inch away from lining up the pins with the holes.

I took mine to buschers bros to get worked on, and I'm about
positive Andy said you had to take off radiator but I could be
wrong, I know he did in mine because the radiator leaked so it
had to come out anyway to get fixed. I just remember him
saying that about every g1355 and 2-150 power steering
cylinders leak, and there no fun to get at and work on.
