A4T-1600 with detroit engine

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a A4T-1600 having a detroit diesel engine instead of the 585? I ran across one that did while looking at a corn planter for sale and was unsure if it was something MM had made to try to get more power or if it was a homegrown modification. I had not see one with that engine before and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it, I was thinking of seeing if the tractor could be purchased as it would work better for running my grain cart than the tractor that I currently use. Also is there anything that I would need to watch out for with this tractor?

Was told of a couple A4T 1600's in the Katy,Texas area with Detroits and Allison transmissions. Rice farmer conversions.That was years ago.

About 20 years ago there was a 2655 painted jd green with a detroit put in it around here.I don't know where it ended up haven't seen it in about 10-12 years

Any pictures, I got a picture of a g1355 with a Detroit.
And no there not factory, mm didnt ever do this.

Is that a 6-71 detroit? We had a ^-71 in a Massey 1500. We thought it developed 200 HP. If you opened the rear window you could shur hear the supercharger scream.

We sold a 1400 that the turbo 504 was removed and a 855 Cummins was installed. That was about 20 years ago.
