M670 super questions

I usually hang out at the Case board, but am helping my brother-in-law get a M670 super running. Tractor has 3500 hrs. and sat for several years and engine stuck. Got it apart and pistons out cylinder cleaned up good. Will hone and put new rings in it.
Had a diesel shop go over the injectors they said that cracking pressure was 2100 psi and book called for 1850 psi, which is correct?
This tractor will be for sale when we get it running.

What the book says is technically "correct", although for
performance, one of the first things we do is increase the
cracking pressure of the injectors to facilitate better
atomization of the large amount of fuel we"re about to pour
through them...(step #2 lol). My $.02 (which may not be worth
half that) I say leave them, especially if the pump has been
turned up.
