335 for hay

What would be a good hay baler to use with a 335? I would imagine that it would be able to run a smaller baler, but don't know where to start. When looking for a baler, I can't find info on the baler as to what size tractor is necessary.

I would think you would be able to run a "small" baler....I know it is a load for my ZA on one, especially when you get a wad of hay in all at once. Not sure what model baler to tell you. Since alot of the first field balers came with (mostly) Wisconsin motors or an engine on the baler, you could bale with a 25-35 hp tractor, but when the pto balers came in to use, usually slightly more hp is needed.

I use a MF12 with a MF TO35, I'm thinking that the 335 would run my baler. I'm in the process of getting a MM 1520 baler, should be comparable to the MF12, I'm thinking that my 30 HP should run it well enough.

a 335 will run a 14T John Deere all day long. Dad used Super C Farmall on it for many years, then used a 520 JD when he bought it. biggest factor would be flat or hilly ground, and if you pull a hay rack, how many bales you load. Keep it 100 on a wagon, & no problems. and no Bale thrower, they use alot of hp.
