Will a Moline U lp manifold work on a U gas

I need a new manifold for my UTS gas. I have one off of an LP U. I know it will fit but will it work ok with gas.

it should work ok. we put 670 lp manifolds on u pullers cause they flow more.

It seems to me that the part of the manifold that the carb bolts to is longer on the lp manifold which will throw off your governor linkage and such, better lay them side by side and compare

It will kinda sorta work: If you are running it for short periods like a 'pull' it will be o.k. But if you work it, under certain conditions it may frost the intake just above the carb.

Some of those manifolds had provision to add a steel plate bolted between the intake and exhaust to transfer some heat to the intake. If yours is like that I would put a plate on it even if I had to make one.

Yes, it will work but you need to make a new governor rod to the carb. As others said the intake will frost up in certain weather conditions. My dad's U has been set up that way for probably 10 years with no problems.
