Pulling the oil pan on my 1865

I am planning to pull the oil pan off of my 1865 this weekend. From the parts breakdowns it doesn't appear to be a big deal. Is there anything I should be aware of? Is it just to big of a hassle with the front axle being in the way? Should I just unbolt the front axle and nose and get them out of my way to save aggravation? Thanks

You will need to remove the front axle bracket. The front axle should be fine. I think there is an oil pressure sensor on the left side of the oil pan. That may need removal or adjustment. These are somethings I encountered on a G1000. I don't have a G950 or Oliver 1865. Good luck.

You have to pull the oil pressure reg adjuster out and the aluminum basket for the oil filter. Just make sure you put the basket back in the oil pan before you reinstalle the pan as it will not clear the frame rail after the pan is back on.
