The first two pictures are of a 72 Massey combine with a 2 row corn head..Its about 15 miles from me and has sat in that same spot for at least 40 years..Its the only 72 that I know about in this entire area..There just dont seem to be very many 72"s in existence.... My Dad had one from 1962-1965..Maybe this is it?

The next picture is a 60 Massey sitting pretty close to the 72..Its been there forever too..

The last picture is a 1937 English Fordson that I hauled home yesterday..

A cab on a combine can be a very good thing for dust and chaff above all else. Wheat chaff bothers my eyes the most. RED and burning.

i had a massey 82 for a couple of years in the late seventies. i used the corn head one year, that was enough for me. i kept a broom handle on the operaters platform and when i could smell it burning down by the engine i would jump off and knock the smoldering leaves off of the manifold. i got so good at it i would do it without stopping, i was a whole lot younger then. i wish i would have taken some pictures.

are you recognizing any familiar battle scars on the 72?? .. i do that all the time, wonder whether i knew a certain piece of equipment at auction before , if i ever see that dam New Idea 5209 i used to own at auction , i will sit on my hands.. BUT . I am LOOKING for Dads sweet little CASE 300 we traded away back in 1972

When Dad traded our 72 Massey off in late 1965 it still looked like new..It had never sat out a night in its life..I wish we had taken some pictures of it...
