how to move non-running sos tractor

Is there a way to move my tractor inside if I can"t start it? Putting it in neutral doesn"t unlock the rearend. It is a 1962 671.

There is a traction disconnect lever on the left side of the rear end housing. Remove the nut, take the lever off and turn it over, move the lever aft.

#1 buy a FO-20 manual it will give you a picture of the disconnect for the rear end so you can move it. Trying to move it other wise can and will cause bigger problems

When moving the disconnect lever you may have to rock the wheel a little to get it to disengage. Do not force it.

Don't move the TDC too far or you'll disconnect the eccentric lever from the sleeve. If you do this you'll then need to remover the inspection cover to get things lined back up. The Oprtator's Manual says 60 degrees.

Thanks for the help everybody! I found the information in the FO-20 manual page 83 para. 223, figure FO162 on page 84. Don't know how I missed it before. I shall work at it next time I have a chance. - Ron
