I have a 100 gallon sprayer currently it is on it own wheels. I have acquired a beefy carry all that will easily hold the weight. I looked up the 3pt specs an it says it good for lifting 1200+ lbs. I figure I can use stay chains to keep the weight off the hydraulics when in use so the bouncing weight issue on the 3 pt is not really an issue. The tank, by my measurements should be about a foot behind the rear wheels and near as I can figure leaves the bout half the trans, engine, and front axel to offset the load. I have about 200lbs in weights I can add to the front if I make a bracket.
Anyone use a 3pt sprayer this size on an 800 / early 4000’s series tractor? I figure between a full sprayer and mounting I am in the 1100lb range.
I have carried 4-500 lbs on a boom pole 3' behined the wheels with no issues.
