Ford 602 picker

Don't know how many of you visit the combine forum, so I thought I'd post this link here...
My cousin is wondering if $2k is reasonable for it with the WD, and if mounting brackets for a Ford (likely for a 900/901) could be made or found easily.

Doesn't seem too bad a price, depending on how the WD runs. I spent many an hour on such a contraption but with an AC picker, this before we got a little IH combine and went to all shelled corn instead of ears. Always liked the WD, I preferred to plow with it instead of the Commander 6000 back on the farm in the late 60s. Ours supposedly had an M&W power kit in it and it really ran nice and was never a problem.
