I started posting about this back in August and got busy and this got put on the back burner. I want to be sure to post the solution and thank a couple members for their input Rodinns and Bern Thanks for the help.
Quick summary, I could not get the proper pressure at the DP, 100 - 110 psi max. Problem started approx 4 yrs ago when clutch packs went out I totally rebuilt the DP put on a new hyd pump and selector valve still had to shim the regulator to get pressure at minimum. I used it for 3.5 yrs before the clutches burned up again after another complete rebuild I couldn't get the pressure over 110 at the DP so I replaced the regulator, still could not get it above 110. This weekend I removed the external plumbing thinking maybe it has a restriction at the elbow since the steel line looks perfect no kinks or dents at all. The elbow looks ok so I take a look into the line and there it the problem. Someone before I bought this tractor put the strainer screen in wrong, instead of puting it in the fitting to the selector valve they put it in the steel line that wedged it in there and wasn't noticeable until the line was removed. Now I have 165 - 175 psi and it works better than ever.
Rod said it will probably be something stupid and simple when I find it, was he ever right.
