Tie rod tubes

I'm putting new tie rods and drag links on my Jubilee. After I pulled the tubes off and leaned them against my work bench I noticed one is longer than the other one. Are they suppose to be different lenghts? At first I thought it maybe the adjustment on them but measured the tubes them selves and yep one is longer than the other one. Thanks.

I'm not a Jube guy, but the drag links on my 660 are different lengths. I would assume the Jube is the same. One side is about 2 inches longer than the other. If you look a the steering gear you will see the sector shafts are offset about that much.

Yes they are supposed to be different lengths. I can't remember right now which is the longer one, but I think it's the left one. You should be able to tell by comparing the steering sectors at the steering gear. One will be behind the other and will need the longer tube.

If you can't tell, let me know and I'll go look at my tractor again to remind myself which side is the long side.
