My ford 650 seems to lose hyd. prime in the 3 point in colder temps. The lift is strong and works good all summer, then every fall/winter it wont raise without running the tractor for a while and loosening the allen plug on front of pump. Some air will spit and sputter out and eventually it will work. Sometimes it may work a few cycles then quit again if really cold.Still happens even if worked everyday. Could it be ball and springs in pump? Unloader valve?
Hate to tear it apart not knowing. Tractor is very good shape always stored inside. Any help thanks.

it could be as simple as a cold oring on the plumbing manifold to the pump or to the sump that is shrinking or getting hard when it gets cold.

it's a cheap place to start...
