I finally got around to installing my loader on my '73 4000 this weekend. It's been sitting in my yard for 5 years now, but there was always something to do that was more important., but not this weekend. It's a Freeman loader that's supposed to be close to the same vintage as my tractor. I bought it cheap because there was no control valve and all of the lines and cylinder rams were rusted and pitted, so I just used the frame, arms and bucket, and basically built everything else up from scratch. All in all, about $600.00 including what I paid for the loader, replacement cylinders, joystick control valve and power beyond plate.
