Still Can't Get Blower Motor To Run

I have checked the voltage behind the dash. New relay was installed by the way. Everything checks out there. Up on top where the wire comes up from behind the dash, I have 12v at the 8 wire bulkhead connector. I also have 12v on the other side of this connector. Past that there is no voltage anywhere in the blower circuit. Everything else up on top works: radio, wipers, flashers.

Most blowers are 3 speed, if so the resistor that gives it the multiple speeds is likely burnt out, it"s in the blower duct work with 3 spade connectors on it, ed

The resistor is mounted on the side of the blower motor bracket. There is no voltage anywhere on this resistor. I would think I should get voltage somewhere either at the motor or the switch.

I'm not sure what you're working on, I must have missed the previous post, but you mentioned one wire.
Do you have one hot wire and switched grounds for speed control?
If not, do you have power to the resistor in any speed or none in all speeds?
If you have a wiring diagram you could check the wires for continuity, but its
unlikely that they are all broken unless a harness got cut.
Just thinking out loud trying to see what the problem could be.

This is a blower motor on a TW25. Origional post is about a week old. Thought it was a bad motor, it runs when hooked up to battery. Replaced the switch, cab relay, fuses are good.

voltage leaves bulkhead but does not get to switch???????

Ok.. bad wire or wrong wire going to switch. You may have to drop another wire down cab to feed switch.

Need to check wiring diagram to see if ac is separate from radio/wiper feed, but I believe it is as its fused separately.. IIRC....

Today I ran a wire from the big bulkhead connector over to the fan motor. I bypassed the switch (jumper wire wasn't long enough). I touched all the terminals on the resistor and the fan ran 3 different speeds FOR ONLY A MOMENT!! After that there was no voltage to the bulkhead connector. Fuses are checking good. Am I back to a bad motor that is pulling too many amps? Is the resistor bad? What about all those capacitors? I think there are 4 total. I have another motor that doesn't use the resistor to get the fan speeds. I put one of those in my TW20. Now to remember how to wire it!!! Thanks!

Ok..

connector at bulkhead is notorious for failing, cracking and not pushing pins together. So.. do you have power on inside bulkhead and not on outside bulkhead connector.. if so, run wire around bulkhead or do away with it.

second, the fuse panel is notorious about rusting up and good fuses do not make a good connection... check 20 amp fuse on both sides for voltage IIRC... thirdly cab relays can be iffy due to corrosive ground issue inside of the relay case, but usually only after its been there a while.

You getting closer..
